22/02: How to use the Quick Add

We have done our best to make it easy to start a new topic. When you have logged in (you need a free account to do that) find you way to the All Members Soap Box.

You should see an extra line has appeared.

click this link and a new box will appear.

This box is where you add you message.

You can now add your message to the world be it a questiona bout God, a revelation of a short sermon.

Use as required.

Please note: this help text is likely to be edited quite a bit as we work out how best to serve you guys.

At Laity Online we recomend that you test and consider everything you read (as is advised in the Bible). We are sure that there will be many nuggets of spiritual goodness but there is also likely to be quanitities of human thoughts and even a few shards of outright falsehood and failing. This is the nature of being human. This is a great oportunity for you to hone your skills at decernment.

Remember this basic truth: The Bible says that God will not contradict himself. It follows, therefore, that as the Bible is God's Word every truth from him will be in agreement with what he has already said.

We encurage you to ask questions in a civil and kind way, remembering that we were all novices once. You, me and every one else will fail during our lives. Here (where you are encuraged to use and test out the gifts you have been given) it is quite likely we will all stumble and fall quite often. What set's us aside is not failure (or lack thereof) but the gentleness with which we help each other to stand up and try again. We are all learning to walk.

This site is free to use. We hope it will always be a free site where we are all the minister, the paster and the reader. We no longer show adverts.
