Christ loves the Church, his bride. However the "bride" that I meet is not such a fantastic being.
The truth be told most church groups are beter compaired to a corpse than a bride.
The truth is we're not all that great.
The question is, therefore, how can we become the perfect bride that He will return for?

At Laity Online we recomend that you test and consider everything you read (as is advised in the Bible). We are sure that there will be many nuggets of spiritual goodness but there is also likely to be quanitities of human thoughts and even a few shards of outright falsehood and failing. This is the nature of being human. This is a great oportunity for you to hone your skills at decernment.
Remember this basic truth: The Bible says that God will not contradict himself. It follows, therefore, that as the Bible is God's Word every truth from him will be in agreement with what he has already said.
We encurage you to ask questions in a civil and kind way, remembering that we were all novices once. You, me and every one else will fail during our lives. Here (where you are encuraged to use and test out the gifts you have been given) it is quite likely we will all stumble and fall quite often. What set's us aside is not failure (or lack thereof) but the gentleness with which we help each other to stand up and try again. We are all learning to walk.
