At Laity Online we recomend that you test and consider everything you read (as is advised in the Bible). We are sure that there will be many nuggets of spiritual goodness but there is also likely to be quanitities of human thoughts and even a few shards of outright falsehood and failing. This is the nature of being human. This is a great oportunity for you to hone your skills at decernment.
Remember this basic truth: The Bible says that God will not contradict himself. It follows, therefore, that as the Bible is God's Word every truth from him will be in agreement with what he has already said.
We encurage you to ask questions in a civil and kind way, remembering that we were all novices once. You, me and every one else will fail during our lives. Here (where you are encuraged to use and test out the gifts you have been given) it is quite likely we will all stumble and fall quite often. What set's us aside is not failure (or lack thereof) but the gentleness with which we help each other to stand up and try again. We are all learning to walk.

So many churches, so much money, so many people, and yet there is a man, a woman, and a child that will go hungry tonight. There is an alcoholic that is in need of some help. There are families that are in need of some financial help or else their power will be turned off, this same family is faced with some decisions, do we pay the electric bill or do we buy some groceries. There are young children that will be taking their first drink of alcohol tonight or continue to drink. Drugs are consuming our children, young girls are killing their unborn children by having abortions, parents are killing their children,children killing their parents, murder is at an all time high, our prisons are over crowded,and yet our churches in America are making more money than fortune 500 companies while our nation goes to HELL!
Church what happen here? you are the ones that were called to teach this nation about God and his ways, you are the ones that are to stand up to this world when a wrong is committed, you are the ones that are to lead this nation in these dark times, you are the ones that are to care for mankind when there is a problem, Today there should not be a single homeless person in this nation as long as there is a church.
You have allowed prayer to be removed from our children's schools, you have allowed the killing of unborn children in Abortion, you have allowed the Ten Commandments to be removed from public site, so tell me church, what exactly are you doing besides raising millions of dollars for your so called church, because you certainly are not standing up for God, and you certainly are not taking care of God's children, and in case you forgotten, we are all God's children not just those that attend your church.
We are to be one One Nation under God And it is your responsibility to lead
this Nation on the ways of God before it is too late.

The goal with this book is to change the thinking about the money that is being given to the church. There are to many people that are in need of help and the church is not doing the will of God.
